Dear Caregiving Family,Mom and I need your help.Mom’s partner has decided they don’t want me or mom here anymore. At the time of writing this blog post, mom’s “in-law’s” are here no packing up mom’s things.I called the cops. No help!I need to file guardianship of mom. Guardianship is NOT cheap!Apparently, this rummage was planned 2 weeks in advanced (at which, I was in the hospital with Multifocal Pneumonia) and mom’s partner thought it would be a good idea to take a trip, while I’m not only sick, but am also on oxygen (temporary situation)…I’ve been a full-time caregiver for my mom for over 8 years. Mostly on my own while mom’s partner worked and vacationed.Mom’s partner seems to think I have no rights.BUT…I’ve spoken to legal counsel and they say that’s wrong.Mom is currently coughing with a cold. Mom’s partner refuses to treat her. As a matter of fact, mom hasn’t seen her doctor in over 3 years.Mom’s partner loves to take their issues with me out on me (as well, as me).Mom’s partner has falsely accused me of assault.Mom’s partner thinks they are untouchable and that they can do whatever they like.Currently, mom’s partners family is taking some of mom’s stuff to Goodwill and I don’t even have the legal voice at the moment to fight it.I need to pay for a lawyer.I need to find us a new residence. I currently have the legal paperwork for guardianship. I need help coming up with the $4500 to $5000 to pay for the guardianship and I need help coming up with funds to get us into new housing, ASAP.Please help us!Our CashApp is $OurFTDJourney. If you would like to send money another way, we will provide our P.O. Box. Just ask.Thank you in advanced!Candace and RobinP.S. I will be adding pics soon.
